Gloria Krolak has gravitated toward music her entire career in marketing.
She worked with Nashville’s Hall of Fame at the Grand Ole Opry and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra before finding her true calling with jazz. She has written a monthly column “On the Road” for Jersey Jazz, the magazine of the New Jersey Jazz Society, and has been its poetry editor for the last year writing “Rhythm & Rhyme.” She has also published, with jazz photographer Ed Berger, Free Verse and Photos in the Key of Jazz. Each poem in the book is constructed solely of jazz tune titles around a central theme and is paired with one of Berger’s eloquent photos.
In May, Krolak will mark eight years as the host of WWFM’s Good Vibes. She is the mother of two; Molly, an electrical engineer, and Nicholas, a jazz bassist.
