Between the Keys July 4th/ Celebrating the "OYAPS"

Join Jed Distler for a special July 4th episode of Between the  keys at 10 PM, celebrating the "OYAPS," the "Outstanding Young American Pianists" who came of age in the years following World War II, and the American pianists who inspired them. Artists featured include Olga Samaroff, Gary Graffman, Julius Katchen, Raymond Lewenthal, Leon Fleisher, Rosalyn Tureck, William Kapell and Eugene Istomin. We also pay tribute to the late American composer Daniel Brewbaker with the finale of his Piano Concerto No. 2, premiered the day after 9/11, with soloist and former Between the Keys guest Jerome Kuderna.
