The ACO Experience with Diane Guvenis

Last Monday of the month at 9 pm

American Composers Orchestra and WWFM The Classical Network are co-presenting The ACO Experience, a new radio program hosted by Diane Guvenis featuring live recordings of music by today’s most talented and exciting composers.

The music was performed by the American Composers Orchestra, guest artists and ensembles participating in ACO concerts and the ACO 2011 and 2015 SONiC Festivals (Sounds of a New Century), citywide festivals in New York featuring music by more than 100 composers age 40 and under. The broadcast will air once a month on Mondays at 9 PM ET, usually on the last Monday of the month.

The ACO Experience features music from the American Composers Orchestra. Each month you can enjoy performances from  past SONiC (Sounds of a New Century) Festivals, and this week you'll hear Bantammer Swing - a work for contrabass flute - by Ned McGowan, Memory Palace by Christopher Cerrone, and When the Real Dragons Fly by Fred Ho. That's Monday at 9 pm.

This month's ACO Experience concert broadcast (Monday at 9 pm) features works by Bruno Mantovani (Chamber Concerto No. 2), Andreia Pinto-Correia (Elegia a Al-Mu'tamid), Mohammed Fairouz (Wind Quintet [1.March]), Mehmet Ali-Sanlikol (Harabat [The Intoxicated]) and Saad Haddad (Manarah).
